As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing drilling equipment, as well as performing troubleshooting and repairs. You will work in a professional setting alongside a skilled team dedicated to quality and excellence. Your ability to read schematics will enable you to understand complex systems and successfully aid in maintaining our machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and test exploration drilling machinery
• Read hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical shop drawings
• Troubleshoot and service hydraulic equipment effectively
• Adjust and repair using hand and power tools
• Conduct performance tests on newly assembled equipment
Requirements:
• Journeyman Mechanic certification or equivalent required
• Graduate from high school;
Grade 12 needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid class 5 driver’s license essential
• Personal mechanics tools required for the job
