Operate underground haul trucks or scoop trams safely while supporting mining operations for Thyssen Mining Construction of Canada. Apply equipment knowledge and safety awareness underground.
This experienced operator position supports underground mine construction and mining activities. You will haul ore, waste, backfill, and other materials between designated locations. The work requires equipment inspections, traffic awareness, radio communication, and production records.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate underground haul trucks safely and efficiently
- Haul ore, waste, backfill, and other materials
- Complete pre-operational inspections and report mechanical issues
- Follow company and site safety procedures
- Maintain radio communication with supervisors and crew
- Experience operating haul trucks or scoop trams
- Valid underground mining certifications or applicable modules
- Strong safety record and situational awareness
- Ability to perform physically demanding underground work
- Availability for varied work schedules
