Position: Sanitation/Over Crew- Night Shift

Pay rate starts at $19.00
per hour
with shift premiums of $0.50 for hours worked 4pm-midnight and $1.00 for hours worked midnight-8am.

Longevity premium of $0.25 after one year of service. Attendance Premium of $0.25.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Sanitation is responsible for cleaning the facility (inside and out) on a nightly basis. As such adherence to company safety and attendance policies is critical.
  • Perform assigned tasks and follow instructions from Supervision and/or Lead personnel including Safe application of chemicals and high pressure hot (140

    F) water to clean and sanitize processing equipment.
  • Sanitize assigned plant area(s) on time and in accordance with Pre-Operations inspection by Quality Control and USDA standards in assigned area(s), so they are ready for release for Production.
  • Keep the non-production areas clean and orderly including breakrooms, bathrooms, smoking areas, parking lot, and all other areas that is deemed necessary by Supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision and/or Lead personnel.
  • Make suggestions on how we can improve our process.

Qualifications

  • Must report regularly and on time to workas well as workall required hours, including overtime and weekends as scheduled.
  • Work safely and set an example of good working safe habits.
  • Ability to obtain pallet jack certificate.
  • Ability to operate pallet jack in safe manner.
  • Physically capable to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
  • Repetitive pushing, pulling, and lifting between 10
    -80 lbs.
  • Ability to stand on concrete floor or metal standfor prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to submit and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
