Position Details
- Role:
Licensed Veterinary Technician - Status:
Part-time - Salary: $20 – $25 per hour
- Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8 AM – 6 PM
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures.
- Obtain patient histories, vitals, and assist with patient assessments.
- Provide compassionate nursing care from intake through discharge.
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection.
- Assist with radiographs and in-house lab diagnostics.
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures.
- Educate clients on medications, treatments, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain an efficient clinic workflow.
- Washington State Licensed Veterinary Technician (required).
- Confidence working in a fast-paced veterinary environment.
- Strong patient handling and technical skills.
- Compassionate communication with clients and coworkers.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
