Tyree Oil, located in Kelso, WA (98626), is seeking a full‑time CLASS A CDL HAZMAT Driver to transport and deliver petroleum products weighing up to 105,500 lbs. The role will support key customer requirements such as safety, quality, dependability, hospitality, integrity, accuracy, cleanliness, and value.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that the correct product and quantity is being loaded in the correct compartment of the trailer at the tank farm.
- Process all tank farm paperwork in accordance with company procedures and standards.
- Utilize the shortest and safest routes to the delivery destinations.
- Check customer tanks to verify held products.
- Stick each tank and record beginning inches before delivery.
- Complete the customer invoice with the correct amount of fuel delivered, price, and amount due for that delivery.
- Maintain the appearance of the truck and trailer inside and out.
- Maintain truck inventory items including spill pads, metal bucket, flags, and correct nozzles.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years operating a CDL HAZMAT licensed vehicle and performing driver duties in adverse to extreme weather conditions.
- Class A CDL with Texas endorsements; no air brake or automatic transmission restrictions.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong computer and device skills across common office and industry platforms.
- Experience with Exxon Mobil lubricant products.
- Current MSHA 46/48 credentials.
- Smith Systems Driving Certificate.
- Current CPR / AED / First Aid certification.
- Experience as an official PIC (Person In Charge).
- Driving dependent position:
Yes. - Professional license or registration: DOT Medical Card, TWIC Card, safety certifications as required.

The employee must frequently use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. Occasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 125 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
Excellent stamina is required. The employee regularly works on or near moving mechanical parts in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, humidity and exposure to dust and asphalt. The employee may occasionally work in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is generally loud.
Machinery/forklift operation may require the use of safety equipment such as eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hard hats.
- Hours per week:
Regularly scheduled for 50+ hours per week. - Days per week: 5 days per week / 10+ hours per day; days off vary based on assigned schedule.
- Shift: Day Shift (4:00am to 4:00pm), Modified Swing Shift (10:00am to 10:00pm) or Night Shift (4:00pm to 4:00am).
