What You'll Do:As a Math Tutor, you’ll create a fun, engaging learning environment while working with up to four students at a time in our after‑school program. Using the Mathnasium Method™, you’ll help students build confidence, master concepts, and develop a genuine love for math.
- Deliver personalized math instruction for students (Kindergarten through Algebra II), with opportunities to specialize as a Geometry, or Calculus Tutor
- Track and document student progress to ensure personalized learning outcomes
- Become proficient with Mathnasium’s proven curriculum and methodology through our comprehensive paid training program
- Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
- Have strong math skills through at least Algebra II (Geometry or Calculus are a plus)
- Are an excellent communicator who connects well with students
- Are eager to learn, grow, and bring positive energy to every session
- Can work at least two weekday afternoons (3-4 hours each) for after-school tutoring, with the option of a Saturday morning shift
No tutoring experience? No problem — we provide paid training to help you succeed.
All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
