The Department of Corrections, Division of Pretrial, Probation and Parole (DP3) is recruiting for a Criminal Justice Technician 1/2 position at the Kenai Probation Office in Kenai, Alaska.

What You Will Be Doing

Provide front desk and administrative support, including phone and visitor intake, assistance to Probation Officers, lobby upkeep, and mail processing per DOC procedures.

Maintain daily office functions by organizing shared work spaces, ensuring essential supplies are stocked, and supporting office procedures and operational practices.

Manage file check-in/check-out, maintain organized filing systems for active and closed cases, and perform accurate data entry aligned with DOC confidentiality and retention standards.

Handle payroll processing, support budgeting and billing tasks, and coordinate procurement of approved supplies in compliance with departmental financial protocols.

Manage office vehicles, equipment, and supply inventories by maintaining logs, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring all essential devices and materials remain stocked and operational.
