Graphic Designer & Video Editor; Content Production - freelance

Overview:

We want a talented freelance content creator with experience in graphic design and video editing/production to support our content creation efforts. The selected candidate will collaborate with our marketing team to create visually stunning and engaging content across various digital platforms, including short videos, Instagram stories/reels/feed/carousel posts, Tik Tok video editing, You Tube/shorts and brand templates creation.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements, target audience, and brand guidelines.
• Create high-quality visual content, including short videos (10-30 seconds), Instagram stories, Tik Tok videos, feed/carousel posts, and brand templates.
• Ensure consistency in design elements, branding, and messaging across all content pieces.
• Adapt designs to different platforms and screen sizes while maintaining visual appeal and effectiveness.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions promptly to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

• Proven experience in graphic design and video editing/creation with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work samples (short videos, social media content, brand templates).
• Proficiency in graphic design & video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Figma and Canva (or preferred advanced apps).
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
• Ability to translate concepts and ideas into visually compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
• Proven experience with cross platform ideas, concepts and storytelling and the understanding of how these can and should be implemented across platforms is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility to accommodate changes in project scope, priorities, and timelines.
• Creation of longer form video content a bonus, but not a requirement

Remote positions and candidates from any location are welcome to apply, with the possibility of extending the contract for the most suitable candidate and potentially a full-time permanent role. Ideally looking within central - east coast US time zone.

The position is 3 days a week up to $3000 USD/mo.
