We are looking for a creative, energetic, and customer focused Photo Studio Associate to join our team. In this role, you will help guests create memorable experiences by dressing them in themed costumes, capturing professional quality photos with a DSLR camera, and editing the final images using Adobe Photoshop on a Mac. You will also provide excellent customer service and actively drive sales by presenting and selling photo packages.
Denali Park Village:
Denali Park Village Hotel offers the Endless Summer of Alaska. Denali National Park & Preserve is home to Denali, the highest peak in North America, and attracts over half a million visitors annually. Located just 7 miles south of the entrance to Denali National Park, the Denali Park Village Hotel operates from May to September. Our guests enjoy comfortable accommodations, dining options, and live entertainment.
This seasonal role runs from May 14 - September 17, 2026. Wages are competitive; on-site housing is available; a meal plan is included for $16 a day.
- Assist customers with selecting and fitting themed costumes and accessories.
- Set up photo scenes, props, lighting, and backgrounds as needed.
- Capture high-quality photographs using a DSLR camera.
- Edit and retouch photos using Adobe Photoshop on macOS.
- Present photo packages to customers and make professional sales recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing studio environment.
- Provide friendly, engaging customer service and ensure a fun, memorable experience.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Safely manage studio equipment and props.

QualificationsRequired Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using DSLR cameras (Canon, Nikon, or similar).
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop (basic to intermediate editing/retouching).
- Comfort working on Mac computers and related software.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to sell products and explain package options clearly.
- Ability to lift and carry costumes/props and stand for extended periods.
- Creative, outgoing, and able to work well in a fast paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous photography or portrait studio experience.
- Retail or sales experience.
- Knowledge of lighting, posing, and photo composition.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
