This position is currently located in Kenai. The position may be in Anchorage, Bethel, Fairbanks, Homer, Juneau, Kenai, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Nome, and Wasilla, depending upon the location of the most qualified candidate.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Public Assistance Field Services Manager 2 (PAFSM
2), you will work under the supervision of the Chief of Field Services. In this role, you will oversee multiple field offices across the state, providing guidance and direction to staff while collaborating with partner agencies. You will supervise multiple Eligibility Office Managers (EOMs), who are responsible for managing various eligibility and workload teams. Travel within the State of Alaska is required in this position.

This position collaborates and works directly with the Chief of Field Operations as well as the Division Operations Manager, Public Assistance Field Service Managers and other managers, Public Assistance Programs Officers and partners that support our agency's mission and values and in an environment of mutual respect and trust, where management believes staff is the agency's most valuable resource and are encouraged to participate in decisions affecting their work.

The main work location will be the nearest Public Assistance office; travel may be required either by air or car.
