Summary
We are seeking a Data Cloud Developer to design and implement data solutions within modern cloud environments, primarily focusing on Salesforce Data Cloud. This role includes building scalable data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, optimizing data models, and activating unified customer data for marketing and business use. Ideal candidates will have strong experience across Salesforce tools and cloud services, with a solid foundation in data governance and compliance.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and manage data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration from multiple sources.
- Build and optimize data models for operational reporting and analytics.
- Implement identity resolution and data harmonization for creating unified customer profiles.
- Develop and maintain applications and integrations using Salesforce Data Cloud and related platforms.
- Enable data activation for audience segmentation and targeted marketing across Salesforce clouds.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, and security best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for codebases, configurations, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CRM, marketing, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
- Conduct quality assurance, A/B testing, and performance tuning for data-driven applications.
- 4+ years of experience configuring and customizing Salesforce platforms, with at least a year of prior experience focused on Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Proficiency with data modeling, ETL processes, SQL, and relational databases.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration tools such as Mule Soft.
- Hands-on knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce development tools.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA a plus.
- Salesforce Developer Certification (DEV-401) required; DEV-501 and Data Cloud Consultant Certification preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and integrations with tools like Outlook or Exchange is a plus.
