THE ROLE
OLIPOP is searching for a Director, eRetail & Retail Media Networks (RMN) to lead and scale our omni-channel digital commerce business across key retail partners and marketplaces. This leader will own the growth, performance, and profitability of our eRetail ecosystem including platforms, syndicated accounts, and emerging, on-demand channels, while building best-in-class retail media capabilities to accelerate conversion, digital penetration, and market share.
This role requires a blend of commercial leadership, digital marketing expertise, and operational excellence,withastrongabilitytoinfluencecross-functionalteamsandexternalpartners. A critical component of this role is owning and optimizing the media agency and driving the eRetail strategy across major platforms including, but not limited to , , , Instacart, Costco, and emerging marketplaces such as Door Dash and GoPuff.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and execute a comprehensive RMN strategy across platforms, including Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Kroger Precision Marketing, Instacart Ads, and other retail media ecosystems to meet and exceed commercial objectives.
- Own the end-to-end relationship with the retail media and performance marketing agency. Ensure tight integration between agency execution and internal brand, eRetail, and performance marketing strategies.
- Lead strategy and execution for on-demand and rapid delivery platforms (e.g., Instacart, Door Dash, and GoPuff).
- Optimize media investment to drive ROAS, incrementality, and full-funnel performance.
- Establish clear performance KPIs, test frameworks, and measurement models to continuously improve media effectiveness.
- Identify, test and scale new growth opportunities across assortment, pricing, promotion, and distribution.
- Own the end-to-end digital shelf strategy, including PDP optimization, SEO, AEO, GEO, content syndication, ratings & reviews, and conversion optimization.
- Partner with brand and creative teams to deliver compelling, mobile-first content that drives engagement and conversion.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Shopper, Supply Chain, Finance, and CX teams to ensure alignment and execution.
- Serve as a key digital stakeholder in omni-channel planning, ensuring eRetail is fully integrated into broader go-to-market strategies.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing eRetail and RMN team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Identify and recruit top talent to support continued growth.
- Approach new sales opportunities with a partnership and profitability-first mindset.
- Work with our Business Insights Team to develop and manage omni-channel partner dashboards and insights to understand profitability, growth impact, media optimization, and sales forecasting opportunities.
- Be a creative problem solver that leads with logic, executes with passion and is a team.
- 12+ years of experience working in e-commerce/omnichannel sales, cross-channel digital marketing, or related fields,
- Strong working knowledge and proficiency of Google Analytics and Shopify with strong competency in Excel.
- Eagernes to approach digitally native channels to push towards profitability, drive trials and reach new customers.
- Must have understanding of marketing and advertising capabilities across the digital selling channels.
- General understanding of how to appropriately forecast for the channels to maximize sales and mitigate OOS issues.
- Obsession for understanding customer Lives, breathes, and dreams about how to better reach & understand our consumers.
- Enthusiastic and comfortable working in a high growth, early-stage Ability to think rapidly and apply a growth mindset in a growing and changing environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships and to collaborate effectively across functions and with third party vendors.
- Bias for action, strong sense of immediacy, and drive to achieve
- Strong planning, organization, and project management skills, along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working successfully with remote teams in multiple Familiarity with Slack, Zoom, Asana and/ or other collaboration tools.
- This position is fully remote. Approximately 20% travel to productions, events, or team off-sites
REPORTS TO: VP, eCommerce
COMPENSATION: $160,000-$175,000 base salary + bonus
