Unit Manager RN/LPN

Fleming Island, FL

Isle Health and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager RN/LPN to join our team!

As a Unit Manager RN/LPN at Isle Healthcare, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while overseeing the daily operations of our unit. Your expertise and leadership skills will enable you to manage a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and exceptional customer service.

About the Role:
  • Unit Leadership
    :
    Manage and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, including RNs, LPNs, and other support staff.
  • Patient Care
    :
    Supervise and oversee the delivery of patient care, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, compassionate care.
  • Operations Management
    :
    Plan, organize, and direct the daily activities of the unit, including staffing, scheduling, and supply management.
  • Quality Improvement
    :
    Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communication
    :
    Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, medical staff, and administrative teams, to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Compliance
    :
    Ensure that all unit operations are in compliance with regulatory agencies, accreditation standards, and facility policies.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to staff members
  • Develop and implement unit policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous education
Requirements:
  • Current RN or LPN license in the state of Florida
  • Leadership experience and training preferred
