• Use and care of tools and equipment commonly employed on industrial construction sites.
• Assist journeyman in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and construction of industrial equipment systems found in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Serve as a bolt-up hand.
• Comply with all safety policies and handbooks, lead and educate fellow employees in safe work ethics, practices, and behaviors.
• Perform tasks as directed by journeymen or supervisors.
• Contribute to Udelhoven's "Incident Free Culture" by participating in morning safety meetings, Task Hazard Analysis forms, and Work Observation programs.
• Use Stop Work Authority.

• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Basic writing and mathematical skills.
• Willingness to take instruction and work in a team setting.
• Preferred certifications: NSTC, TWIC, OSHA-10.
• Preferred experience in civil or mechanical construction.
• Preferred experience with offshore operations or oil & gas experience.

High school diploma or GED.

As a condition of employment, you are required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, and have acceptable references and background check. Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
