What You Will Do

We are looking for a roustabout with a high level of expertise and experience. The roustabout / welder helper will be responsible for the use and care of tools and equipment commonly employed on industrial construction sites as well as assisting the journeyman in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and construction of industrial equipment systems found in an industrial or commercial environment.

They will also serve as a bolt‑up hand.

Qualifications
  • Complies with all safety policies and the applicable safety handbooks, leads, and educates fellow employees in safe work ethics, practices, and behaviors.
  • Performs tasks as directed by journeymen or supervisors.
  • Contributes to Udelhoven’s “Incident Free Culture” by getting involved in morning safety meetings, Task Hazard Analysis forms, and Work Observation programs.
  • Uses Stop Work Authority.
  • Has basic knowledge of hand tools.
  • Possesses basic writing and mathematical skills.
  • Is willing to take instruction and work in a team setting.
  • Preferred certifications: NSTC, TWIC, and OSHA‑10.
  • Experience in civil or mechanical construction, preferred.
  • Experience with offshore operations or oil & gas experience.
Education
  • High school diploma or GED.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • No supervisory responsibilities.
Additional Qualifying Factors

As a condition of employment, you are required to pass a pre‑employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable references and background check. Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
