Job SummaryUnder the supervision of the Youth Services Clinicians the Youth Services Case Manager provides direct services and case management to Severely Emotionally Disturbed (SED) un'ina enrolled in the program. In addition, the Case Manager provides guidance, mentoring and supervision to the Individual Skill Providers assigned to un'inas in the Case Manager's service area. This position is responsible to comply with Federal, State, agency, and program policies and procedures regarding confidentiality, service provision, and documentation.
Under the direction of the BH Youth Services Supervisor and in partnership with co-workers, the Case Manager will develop and facilitate summer activities for the Youth Services Summer Program.
- Provide guidance, mentoring and supervision to ISPs assigned within the Case Manager's service delivery area
- Develop and facilitate summer activities for the Youth Services Program with other Case Managers
- Develop and provide skill building groups and individual services to SED clients in school and community settings (subjects primarily include: anger management, coping and social skills, problem solving, and academic underachievement)
- Develops, or participates in the development, of goals, objectives, and interventions for client treatment plans
- Participates in KIT and Youth Services staff/clinical meetings
- Assists in coordinating and facilitating ISP trainings/meetings
- Maintain awareness of community resources available to clients and families (including resources available in regards to billing)
- Responsible for maintaining collaborative, professional, respectful and effective working relationships with staff, patients and community professionals/agencies, including Kenai Peninsula Borough School District personnel
- Responsible for documenting service encounters in a thorough, accurate, and timely manner that is compliant with supervisory instruction and according to protocols established by KIT
- Ensures compliance with Tribal, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, Tribal policies and TERO ordinance

Experience
- Minimum age of 25
- Four to five years of experience providing direct services to SED youth
- Four to five years of experience in case management
