Position Overview
This part‑time Corrections Nurse 1/2 position is located at the Kenai Peninsula Youth Facility in Kenai, Alaska.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of higher‑level nurses, the Corrections Nurse 1/2 independently assesses, monitors, and maintains the physical well‑being of residents in a 24‑hour secure facility. The CN 1/2 provides direct care within scope, follows medical protocols, and refers residents to higher‑level care when necessary. The position is flexibly staffed and may progress from CN 1 to CN 2 after probation and required competencies.

Working EnvironmentPermanent part‑time employment, 25 to 29.5 hours per week, Monday‑through‑Friday. The Kenai facility serves a maximum of 10 youth, fostering a personalized approach.
