Uses company transportation assets to move guests and cargo in a safe, friendly and timely manner.

Drivers conduct and coordinate basic maintenance on company vehicles and maintain records in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation and company standards.
* Conduct pre and post operation maintenance on assigned vehicle daily. Annotate issues correctly
* Operate shuttles along assigned routes, reporting changes or challenges to the coordinator
* Coordinate and communicate with guest service, group coordination and marine staffs to ensure that guests receive the best possible service and important information is shared throughout the company
* Maintains records in accordance with company, state and DOT requirements regarding vehicle maintenance, driver activities and traffic incidents
* Commercial Driver’s License with passenger and air brake endorsement
* Knowledge of Alaska and Seward history, geography, and standard attractions.
* Familiarity with the Alaska Collection products
* Excellent guest/customer service skills including speaking with guests, assisting them in solving their problems, and dealing with angry or disappointed guests in a positive way
* The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
* The employee must be able to work in harsh weather conditions for long hours on a variable schedule
* 2 year’s experience.

The starting wage for this role is $27.00/hour.
