At Rambam Day School, we believe teaching is about relationships, curiosity, and helping every
child feel seen, valued, and capable. We are looking for passionate, thoughtful educators who
love children, believe in their potential, and want to be part of a warm, collaborative school
community.
Our teachers nurture the whole child—intellectually, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and
socially—by creating classrooms where students feel safe to explore, ask questions, take risks,
and grow. We value educators who bring curiosity, empathy, and creativity into their practice and
who see families as true partners in a child’s learning journey.
At Rambam, you’ll find a supportive environment where your voice matters, collaboration is
encouraged, and innovation is celebrated. If you’re excited to make a meaningful impact and
grow alongside a dedicated team, we would love to meet you.
Rambam Day School is deeply committed to:
- A play- and project-based curriculum that encourages hands-on learning, creativity, and critical thinking
- Small class sizes that allow for meaningful relationships and individualized instruction
- Child-centered learning that nurtures leadership, confidence, and independence
- Embracing diverse learning styles and supporting lifelong learning
- Strong partnerships with families to support each child’s academic and emotional growth
As an Associate Teacher at Rambam Day School, you will work closely with the lead teacher to
support a joyful, engaging, and inclusive classroom community. Specific responsibilities include,
but are not limited to:
- Sharing teaching responsibilities in partnership with, and under the guidance of, the lead teacher
- Developing a strong understanding of Rambam Day School’s curriculum maps, scope and sequence, and grade-level content across all subject areas
- Staying current in content knowledge and instructional best practices
- Collaborating with the lead teacher to use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress, identify strengths and needs, and guide instruction
- Helping maintain an inviting classroom space, including learning centers, manipulatives, bulletin boards, and student work displays
- Supporting regular, meaningful communication with families about students’ academic, social, and emotional growth through report cards, newsletters, digital platforms, and personal outreach
- Working with the lead teacher to design personalized and differentiated learning experiences that are purposeful, engaging, and aligned with instructional goals
- Assuming full classroom responsibilities during short-term absences of the lead teacher
We’re excited to connect with educators who bring many of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification (preferred)
- Experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners
- Familiarity with research-based interventions and tiered instruction
- Comfort working with students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities
- Strong communication skills with students, colleagues, and families
- Ability to use data to guide instruction and support student growth
- Strong organizational, time-management, and collaboration skills
Because here, you’re not just filling a role—you’re joining a community. We value who you
are, what you bring, and how you grow. If you’re looking for a place where your work matters
and your presence is valued, Rambam Day School may be the place for you.
