our Intern Program as a paid intern in the Early Childhood Department and be part
of a vibrant campus community while gaining hands-on experience working with young
children.

As an Early Childhood Intern
, you’ll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging
learning environment. Interns help facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote
children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

• Assist lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate classroom activities, including art, sensory exploration, music, movement, and play‑based learning
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom and learning environment
• Support children with daily routines, including transitions, snacks, meals, and rest times
• Encourage positive behavior, kindness, and social‑emotional development using age‑appropriate strategies
• Provide gentle guidance and redirection aligned with positive behavior practices
• Observe and communicate any safety, behavioral, or health concerns to supervising staff
• Serve as a caring, consistent, and professional role model for young children
