Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- Process vendor invoices by reviewing, coding, and entering them into the accounting system.
- Assist with tracking invoice approvals and preparing payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and help resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Support payment processing, including checks, ACH transactions, and corporate credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain organized accounts payable records and documentation.
- Assist with purchase order matching and receiving document review.
- Provide support for month-end and year-end accounting activities, audits, and 1099 preparation.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing.
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- 1+ year of accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills and comfort learning new accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
