Adjunct Faculty - Nutrition and Exercise Science

The Department of Nutrition and Exercise Science (NES) is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach in-person courses as part of their Adjunct pool. Bastyr University Kenmore campus is located 15 miles north of Seattle.

Bastyr University nutrition degree programs are unique in their emphasis on whole foods and multicultural, political and ecological dimensions of food. This is an Adjunct Faculty Position that includes didactic and lab teaching.

Responsibilities

* Teach didactic and lab courses on campus to both graduate and undergraduate NES students

* Organize course structure and teach with regard to course learning outcomes

* Create and post course syllabi in timely manner

* Assess and record student learning and progress

* Submit grades at course end

* Track student attendance, as needed

* Advise students as needed to support student success
