The Department of Botanical Medicine is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach in-person courses as part of their Adjunct pool for the Herbal Sciences and/or Certificate of Holistic Landscape Design programs. Bastyr University Kenmore campus is located 15 miles north of Seattle. Bastyr University botanical medicine programs are unique in their holistic approach to plant-based medicines and horticulture from seed to clinic/research bench.

This is an Adjunct Faculty Position that includes didactic and lab teaching.

• BS or equivalent training in herbalism, permaculture, or landscape design. Some courses may have additional education/experience requirements.

• Specific experience in leading curriculum design and development, student and course evaluation, student assessment and curriculum mapping with respect to competencies and milestones
