Job Description
Part‑time Customer Service Specialist at Sherwin‑Williams. Positions are located within a 10‑mile radius of Store #708099 (6410 NE Bothell Way, Kenmore, WA 98028). The role requires working multiple locations, evenings, and weekends. Pay begins at $24.00 per hour. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
- Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
- Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Maintain precise work order files and formulas
- Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
- Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications
- Stock shelves and set up displays
- Clean store equipment
- Load/unload delivery trucks
- Assist in making deliveries, as needed
- Maintain in‑stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Comply with inventory control procedures
- Suggest ways to improve sales
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
- Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- If internal to Sherwin‑Williams, must have received at least a “meets expectations” (3) rating on the most recent performance appraisal
- If internal to Sherwin‑Williams, must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for the current position
- Have at least a High School diploma or GED
- Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Have previous work experience selling paint and paint‑related products
- Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
- 0‑9 paid holidays throughout the calendar year
- Non‑exempt employees who work within the state of Washington accrue paid sick leave at an accrual rate of 1 hour per every 40 hours worked
- Employees who work within the city of Seattle, Washington accrue paid sick leave at a rate of 1 hour per every 30 hours worked
- 4 workweeks (on a 12‑month rolling calendar period) of paid Military leave for employees who are absent from work due to service in the uniformed services
- 5 days of paid Bereavement Leave following the death of an immediate family member and 3 days of paid Bereavement Leave following the death of any other family member
- Part‑time employees receive paid vacation after their first year of hire consistent with Sherwin‑Williams part‑time vacation policy
