LINE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Seasonal, Full Time

Starting hourly rate: $21.30

The Line Service Technician is a core role for the day-to-day operations of Kenmore Air. This position is responsible for assisting aircraft to and from the docks, servicing aircraft, loading baggage, and some general grounds maintenance. The Technician is one link in a chain of personnel that helps to ensure the safety and timeliness of operations.

Essential Functions:

* Meet and secure aircraft on docks

* Servicing aircraft between flights

* Fuel-related quality assurance

* Washing aircraft on a daily basis

* Communicating effectively with coworkers, passengers, and students

* Operating forklifts to move aircraft

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Must be 18+ years old

* Must be willing to become forklift certified if not already (classes 1, 4,
5)

* Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

* Availability through the end of October

Physical Demands:

* Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs

* Willing and able to work in all weather conditions outdoors

* Comfortable with long periods of standing and walking

* Climb short ladders and stairs

Education and Experience:

* High School and/or some college preferred

* Previous aviation, forklift, or marina experience preferred
