Nautilus Construction is a dynamic architecture and design firm dedicated to creating innovative, functional, and sustainable environments. Our projects range from residential homes to commercial and mixed-use developments, with a focus on quality, creativity, and client satisfaction.

We're looking for an Architect to lead and support projects from concept development through construction administration.

• Develop architectural concepts, designs, and construction documents
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and specifications
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors
• Ensure projects comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards
• Conduct site visits, project evaluations, and construction observations
• Assist with permitting and regulatory approval processes
• Prepare presentations, design reports, and project documentation
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Participate in client meetings and provide design solutions throughout project development
• Support construction administration and respond to field inquiries

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• 3-7 years of professional architectural experience
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and codes
• Excellent design, visualization, and problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication and project management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented and highly organized

Full-time, Monday-Friday

Primarily office-based in Kennebunk, ME with occasional site visits
