For a limited time Maine Health is offering a sign on bonus of up to $10,000 for all eligible Behavioral Health Clinicians!
Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part-time position. Bonus amounts prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 3 months of separation from employment.

Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required
A new opportunity for a behavioral health clinician to be part of a bariatric surgery and medical weight loss program, part of Maine Medical Center, located in Kennebunk Maine. The Weight Management program treats both adults and kids who are looking to create a healthier self. It staffs a comprehensive team including board certified bariatricians, surgeons, dieticians, and behavioral health clinicians.
The behavioral health clinician will be part of the multidisciplinary team supporting patients as they move towards a healthier life. This is up to a 40 hour position with benefits, but if interested in fewer hours, please let us know. The role of the behavioral health clinician includes providing assessments and focused treatment to patients of the practice. Treatment structure would include both individual and group work.
The work is enhanced by being part of a medical team with solid experience in integrated work. Collaborative work with psychiatrists and other integrated clinicians in the Maine Health system adds to the experience. Individual supervision, group supervision, and quarterly trainings are benefits of this position.
Summary:
The role of Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Master’s degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
Certifications:
Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.
The pay range for this position is $71,448.00 to $96,636.80 per year.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
