Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/Physician Associate Per Diem Neonatal Nursery Biddeford
Maine Health Maine Medical Center Pediatrics Biddeford is seeking an experienced Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to provide on‑call coverage for our Level I Neonatal Nursery serving the Biddeford/Sanford region.
The successful candidate will provide per diem coverage for newborn nursery services, including newborn rounding, attendance at high‑risk deliveries, and management of infants requiring Level I neonatal care. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced provider seeking flexible scheduling while working alongside an established and collaborative pediatric and neonatal team.
This position is anticipated to require up to 4–6 on‑call shifts per month. Providers will work closely with experienced nursing staff and hospital teams dedicated to delivering high‑quality newborn care.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program
- Current NRP certification required
- Prior newborn nursery and/or neonatal inpatient experience required
- Experience with Level I nursery care and high‑risk deliveries preferred
- Approximately 4–6 shifts per month
- Opportunity to work within an established neonatal and pediatric care team
