Primary PurposeAssist the Stock Crew Manager with all duties and responsibilities of the Third‑Shift Center Store Associate, ensuring financial success and a strong store culture in line with Hannaford Strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist in hiring, training and developing associates.
- Maintain department staffing, scheduling and financial results.
- Cut, mark and stock products as required.
- Use sound judgment in task assignment, delegation and follow‑up.
- Treat all associates fairly, recognize achievements and provide constructive feedback.
- Model appropriate workplace behavior.
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
- Familiarize with and adhere to the Center Store Standard Practices Manual.
- Communicate within the department and across the organization.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship in all assigned duties.
- Ensure product variety, correct pricing and display philosophy to meet gross profit goals.
- Maintain product quality through proper rotation.
- Meet or exceed company productivity standards.
- Ensure proper ordering procedures and inventory control.
- Maintain compliance with pricing (if applicable).
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Follow MPP guidelines to maintain productivity.
- Report equipment repairs or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to safety, fire prevention and security standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of store information.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
- Be able to meet physical requirements of the position.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lead and direct department associates.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to work in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn multiple tasks and complete forklift and power jack training.
- Minimum age requirements met.
- Availability to work overnight or early‑morning shifts.
- Lift up to 20 lbs. regularly, up to 60 lbs. occasionally; push/pull up to 40 lbs. regularly.
- Meet established volume/activity standards.
- Stand or walk 100% of the time.
- Frequent reaching, grasping and lifting below waist or above shoulder.
- Frequent bending, kneeling and squatting.
- Handle cleaning, packaging and food substances.
- Work in extreme temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.
- Use computers, calculators and communication systems.
$18.95 – $27.25 per hour.
