Driver Pro (Construction)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for operating a delivery truck to transport building materials and related items to and from designated locations, as directed by the Logistics Manager. Ensures timely, safe, and accurate deliveries while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.

• Promptly report unsafe conditions and behaviors.
• Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and in designated areas.

• Verify order accuracy.
• Organize and secure materials safely.
• Obtain approval from the checker for product type, quantity, and condition before leaving the yard.

• Direct forklift operators during loading as needed.
• Responsible for all company funds, including COD.
• Assess site conditions, weather, and equipment to determine the safest delivery approach.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and service coordinators.

Conduct daily equipment inspections.

Monitor truck performance and report issues promptly.

Complete all required documentation, including:
Handle credit pickups properly: leave a copy at the job site and submit a copy to the shipper.

Maintain cleanliness of the truck interior and exterior (washed and waxed).Report vehicle maintenance needs promptly.

Represent the company professionally and reliably in all customer interaction

Adhere to all company policies and procedures without exception. Always wear a seatbelt while operating the vehicle. Wear company-approved clothing/uniform.

Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
