Job Summary

The cashier is responsible for establishing and maintaining good customer relations and accurately completing paperwork required to track and service customers. The role involves greeting customers, entering work order data, assisting technicians with filter changes, handling cashier duties, maintaining a clean lobby, and supporting management with paperwork and reports. Day-to-day activities include customer interactions, cashier responsibilities, and maintaining office information systems.

Must be bilingual in Spanish and English, fluent in English, and have a smiley, happy disposition. The position requires driving vehicles into bays, assisting with filter pulls, gathering customer information (especially emails), and participating in promotional flyer distribution. Saturday work is required. The role is physically demanding with 80% of the time spent in the bays, and may involve working in hot environments.

Responsibilities Customer Relations / Business Development
  • Greets and interacts with customers in a friendly, professional, and inviting manner
  • Explains the Spee Dee Franchise Organization preventative maintenance services and pricing structure to achieve high customer satisfaction and increased sales
  • Reviews services performed and bills out the customer
  • Obtains any technical information from manager or technicians in response to customer questions
  • Presents all promotional materials to customers
  • Maintains marketing programs as directed by manager
  • Answers telephone in an approved manner
  • Works to maintain a team effort of quality customer service
Shop Operations
  • Maintains spotless customer service/office area
  • Maintains spotless customer restrooms
  • Greets and writes up work orders for customers when business trends dictate the need
  • Conforms to standards and procedures prescribed by the Spee Dee Franchise Organization Daily Operations Manual and store policies
  • Maintains appointment scheduler
  • Maintains operations of office computer system and daily cash receipts
