Primary ObjectiveReporting to Engineering, this role is responsible for the PLM and CAD administration for the Engineering department. This role will need to support the Engineering and Manufacturing departments, with various projects. This role will also be responsible for DELMIA operations and helping to evangelize the adoption of DELMIA.
The majority of the work for this position will revolve around processing change actions, working in Delmia to create Bills of Material, and uploading those into the ERP system, Net Suite. This role is focused primarily on change actions and BOM management.
Key Responsibilities & Duties Manufacturing- Use DELMIA expertise to continue further development of DELMIA
- Own all DELMIA operations from ‘Manufactured Item Definition’ to ‘Resources’
- Train users and evangelize the adoption of DELMIA within the company
- Work with change coordinators to coordinate EBOM changes into the MBOM
- Build and maintain BOMs in DELMIA and properly define build processes
- Advocate the usage of process planning to accurately define build processes
- Help the company grow into more advanced features of DELMIA such as build simulation
- Be familiar with EKL scripts and work with 3DX admins to build EKLs
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
- Support all DELMIA users within the organization
- Create and maintain PLM user documentation and process maps.
- Apply PLM best practices to the Company’s continuous development and improvement of product development processes.
- Create reference materials and training documents to communicate and reinforce PLM processes and standards.
- Be the SME for PLM and Change Management
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years working in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of 3DExperience, DELMIA and BOMs (Bill of Materials)
- Sense of urgency, with the ability to work well under pressure
- Experience in a start-up and/or hyper-growth company
