Kenner, LA:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist III to support and enhance the overall effectiveness of the Human Resources Department. This position reports to the Manager, Human Resources and plays a key role in HR management, talent acquisition, and training and development initiatives. The Human Resources Generalist III serves as a backup to the Manager in their absence and is responsible for designing and implementing progressive talent strategies and programs that support organizational growth.

Duties:
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees and managers across the organization
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary guidance, and conflict resolution while fostering a positive workplace culture
  • Assist the Manager of Human Resources and senior leadership with strategic HR initiatives
  • Create, analyze, and maintain reports and data related to salary administration, benefits, and workforce planning
  • Provide guidance and support to HR team members, including HR administrative and benefits functions
  • Serve as acting department lead in the absence of the Manager, Human Resources
  • Manage full-cycle talent acquisition processes, including collaboration with recruiting partners to identify and secure top talent
  • Oversee recruiting and hiring workflows to maximize efficiency and enhance the candidate and onboarding experience
  • Ensure cross-training within the HR department to promote seamless delegation of responsibilities
  • Draft, classify, and maintain standardized job descriptions for all roles
  • Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive training and development programs
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement in training initiatives to support strategic and departmental goals
  • Coordinate employee development programs, including supervisory training and professional advancement opportunities
  • Maintain employee orientation, recognition, and awards programs
  • Track and document employee development activities and training records
  • Develop and present metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and organizational impact
  • Conduct ongoing training needs assessments and implement targeted development strategies
  • Establish and manage annual training schedules and calendars
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements/

Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, talent acquisition, and training development
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance standards
  • Proven ability to manage complex employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience designing and implementing training and development programs
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate and interpret HR metrics and reports
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via electronic communication
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry office materials up to 20 pounds
