Maintenance Mechanic

Kenner, LA:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support Facilities Maintenance in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of complex metal fabricating and production machinery.
• Maintain and service CNC equipment, PLC systems, relay logic, three-phase motor control systems, and VFDs.
• Ensure all production equipment is maintained in accordance with OEM standards.
• Complete accurate and timely maintenance documentation.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
• Execute repair and maintenance directives provided by equipment manufacturers’ technical support via phone or email.
• Work independently as a self-starter, prioritizing jobs with limited supervision.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and all applicable safety regulations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate’s Degree or Technical School Diploma preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of related maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of CNC, PLCs, relay logic, three-phase motor controls, and VFDs.
• Experience, licenses, or advanced training in industrial trades such as electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, HVAC, boilers, and air compressors preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and follow technical instructions accurately.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around moving machinery, electrical systems, and industrial environments while following safety protocols.
