Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Pump/Turbine Mechanic to support the maintenance, repair, and servicing of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, and related industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to safety, quality, and precision workmanship.

Essential Duties:
• Perform disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of rotating equipment in accordance with company procedures and industry standards
• Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot equipment failures, and recommend effective repair solutions
• Conduct precision alignment of rotating equipment using proper tools and techniques
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to ensure repairs meet specifications and project timelines
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Document repair activities, inspection findings, and maintenance recommendations accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Stay informed on industry best practices and advancements in rotating equipment maintenance and repair

Requirements/

Skills:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in rotating equipment maintenance and repair
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, and related rotating equipment
• Experience with precision alignment techniques; laser alignment and vibration analysis experience is a plus
• Familiarity with industrial tools, machinery, and shop equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical certifications in mechanics or related fields preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods during shifts
• Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as required
• Manual dexterity for operating tools and precision equipment
• Ability to work in industrial environments with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and mechanical components
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
