Job Summary
RN – Cath Lab (Registered Nurse) – Cardiac Cath Lab. Contract position, 13 weeks, starting 6/29/2026. Day shift, 12‑hour days, 3 days per week with call (minimum 10 calls per month, including 2 weekend days).

Kenner, LA 70065.
- Registered nurse diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred:
Certification in a clinical specialty area. - Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Good judgment and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be self‑directed and work effectively in a team.
- Use the nursing process to deliver patient care.
- Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team.
- Use data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote changes that achieve optimal outcomes.
- Embrace concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale, and improve the nursing profession.
- Adapt communication style to meet the specific needs of the patient population, including privacy, introduction, and explanation of services.
- Perform related duties as required.
- Remain knowledgeable of current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements; ensure compliance with all such standards.
- Maintain and comply with the company’s Compliance & Privacy Program and Standards of Conduct, reporting any suspected unethical or questionable behavior, patient or employee safety concerns, patient privacy violations, or other compliance-related issues immediately.
Heavy work may involve exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally or 25 to 50 pounds frequently; moving objects continuously may require significant walking, standing, or pushing/pulling. The role requires routine exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, hazardous medications, and hazardous waste. Occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous substances exists.
