As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you will be the "face of the retail store," assisting customers with their automotive needs. No need to be able to tear down and rebuild engines, but a background in automotive parts is helpful. • Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
• Assist other team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
• Bring energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores.
• Welcome customers and engage with them positively.
• Use technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and catalogs.

• Enjoy helping customers with their auto parts questions.
• Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with cars and trucks.
• Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you lack experience.

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good listening skills and empathy for customers.

• Passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
• Experience in retail, auto body, or collision repair.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Customer-centric attitude.
• ASE Certifications are a plus but not required.
