Heavy Equipment Operator

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to support earthwork, utility, and demolition projects. This role requires proficiency in operating excavators, skid steers, loaders, backhoes, tractors, and forklifts. Operators must be safety-minded, reliable, and capable of working in both large-scale and confined jobsite conditions.

• Perform trenching, utility excavation, earthwork, grading (Blue Top/Finish Grade), and demolition.
• Excavate, distribute, and level material, earth, and terrain as directed.
• Operate equipment defensively by planning ahead, monitoring surroundings, eliminating distractions, and avoiding hazards.
• Stop operations when unsafe conditions are present until resolved.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance, fueling, greasing, and inspections with proper documentation.
• Comply with OSHA safety regulations, company policies, PPE requirements, and hazard communication programs.
• Participate in daily jobsite safety meetings.

• Minimum age 18.
• Valid driver’s license, TWIC card, and reliable transportation required.
• Must provide steel toe boots.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and walk on uneven terrain.
• Physically capable of strenuous labor and machine operation.
• Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic and punctuality.

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.
• Ability to safely operate heavy machinery and perform routine maintenance tasks.
