Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $55,000.00 Annually
Department: Operations / Traffic Control
Reports To: Operations Manager/ Director of Traffic Control
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position SummaryThe Permit Administrator is responsible for managing, submitting, tracking, and maintaining all permits related to traffic control, lane closures, right-of-way access, and traffic control plans. This role coordinates with internal teams, municipalities, DOTs, utilities, and clients to ensure compliance and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, submit, and track all traffic control and right-of-way permits
- Monitor permit expirations, renewals, and revisions
- Act as liaison between municipalities, DOTs, utilities, and internal teams
- Communicate permit status, risks, and delays proactively
- Track permit fees and support audits
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- 3+ years' experience using Project Management applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Experience in traffic control or civil infrastructure
- 2+ years experience in permitting, traffic control, or construction administration
