Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job SummaryResponsible for the administration and daily oversight for post-award activities for an assigned sponsored programs portfolio. Responsible for ensuring compliance based on KSU policy, sponsor guidelines, and state and federal regulations and identifying deviations as well as account management problems. Reviews all transactions for allowability and compliance with the proposed budget, applicable regulations, and policy and coordinates any resulting rebudgets needs.
Builds and maintains partnering relationships with internal stakeholders and other operational departments while acting as a liaison with sponsors.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Required Experience: Two (2) years of related work experience in the management and/or administration of externally sponsored activity within a university, non-profit, or academic medical center setting.
Preferred QualificationsPreferred Educational
Qualifications:
Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
Preferred Experience: Experience with applying and interpreting Unifor Guidance 2 CFR 200, federal agency specific regulations, and non-federal sponsor guidelines. Experience with grant management software (Cayuse, Info Ed, HRS, Kuwali, etc.) a plus.
