Construction Superintendent

At Griffco Design/Build, our Superintendents are more than field managers—they are leaders who set the pace, uphold our standards and drive every project toward a successful finish.

From groundbreaking through close-out, you’ll lead complex commercial and industrial construction projects while serving as Griffco’s on-site leader and the primary driver of safety, quality and schedule performance.

We’re looking for experienced Superintendents who lead with confidence, communicate with purpose and take ownership of every aspect of the jobsite. Candidates must be willing to travel to project locations nationwide.

• Lead all field operations from mobilization through project completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, schedules, inspections and daily field activities to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
• Partner with Project Management teams to monitor project productivity, control costs and maintain schedule performance.
• Champion Griffco's safety culture by making safety the foundation of every decision.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers and trade partners to deliver exceptional project outcomes.
• Anticipate challenges, remove roadblocks and make sound field decisions that keep projects on track.
• Ensure every phase of construction meets Griffco's quality standards and project specifications and inspection requirements.
• Communicate proactively through daily reports, project meetings and short-term planning.
• Develop and drive short-term look-ahead schedules to keep work progressing safetly and efficiently.
• Mentor field personnel, foster teamwork and create a jobsite where people are proud to work.

• Experience leading commercial and/or industrial construction projects from the field.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and subcontract documents.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades while maintaining safety, quality and schedule performance.
• OSHA certification required;
  First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore.
• Willingness to travel nationwide to support projects across the United States.
