Project Manager
This opportunity is with a collaborative design-build construction firm, where projects are managed from concept through completion under one integrated team. As a Project Manager, you will oversee construction projects from preconstruction through close-out, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
In this role, you will manage budgets, schedules, communication, and coordination while working closely with internal design teams, clients, and subcontractors. This position offers a mix of in-office work and on-site project involvement.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with budgeting, schedule development, proposal preparation, and defining project scope
- Coordinate with in-house design teams to align scope with budget and support permitting efforts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, leading meetings and providing regular updates
- Manage subcontractor buyouts, track project progress, monitor costs, and ensure safety and compliance standards
- Support the development of scopes of work, contracts, and change orders
- Oversee punch list completion, final documentation, and project close-out activities
- Identify project risks, implement solutions, and ensure deadlines and quality expectations are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and project success
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience leading construction projects to completion on time and within budget
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Procore, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented with a positive, "can-do" attitude
- Willingness to travel approximately 20-25% for site visits and project coordination
Salary: $130k-$160k
