Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of the Wellstar School of Nursing for the academic year . These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

• Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Nursing discipline. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• To Teach Undergraduate Courses: A minimum of a Master s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Nursing or a closely related discipline is required.
• To Teach Graduate Courses: A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Nursing or a related discipline is required, such as DNP, PhD, EdD.

• Previous experience in nursing education or serving as a preceptor for nursing students in clinical settings
• 1-2 years of clinical experience in the teaching specialty area
• Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
