Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open‑rank, part‑time and limited‑term faculty positions in the Bailey School of Music for the academic year 2025‑2026. These positions are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed within the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching undergraduate courses in music (assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines).
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Music or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
  • A minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non‑related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
