Job Responsibilities:
1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Supervises assigned area within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Responsible for interpreting, analyzing, and evaluating documents and performing processes in compliance with Board of Regents (BOR) and University policies & procedures. Responsible for training and supervision of a team processors.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the supervision and training of assigned departmental staff
- Monitors admission application, document and imaging workflows and volume for the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid and Registrar, addressing any concerns
- Uses student information systems, related software and databases to process documents and data related to students enrollment
- Facilitates assigned projects and/or work groups in collaboration with other office and/or campus leadership
- Tests databases in response to software upgrades and new program implementations
- Runs and evaluates various reports for processing and/or verification of data integrity
- Assists with new student orientations, processing and verifying documents, when needed
- Collaborates with the team to propose ideas and solutions for operational progress
- Attends departmental, divisional and campus level meetings and presentations as assigned
- Communicates with or oversees communications with applicants, students, faculty, staff, and those external to Kennesaw State University
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, NCAA, USG, and Kennesaw State rules and regulations
- Provides supervision and decision management in absence of Director and Associate Director
- Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
- Required Experience: Three (3) years of related work experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with University System of Georgia and Kennesaw State University guidelines

Previous supervisory experience - Preferred Experience: Prior experience working in a post-secondary educational environment

- Able to work in partnership with staff, faculty, administrators and student leaders
- Able to perform certain duties and attend required meetings in lieu of the Director
- High level of empathy and ability to deal with difficult and confidential situations
- Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time, meeting assigned deadlines
- Stays current with applicable practices and guidelines of the division
- Understands student information systems, related software and databases
- Working knowledge of and abides by the regulations of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Analytical thinking and creative skills
- Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
- Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Office products, BANNER, Nolij Web, Degree Works, CRM, Intelligent Capture, SharePoint, as well as the following software: Statistical Analysis, Enterprise Guide, XAP Application Software, Georgia Futures, etc.)
