Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

With a personalized approach, our program fosters the creation of new knowledge and the development of critical thinking and scientific problem-solving skills for our graduates to excel in top-tier graduate programs and the STEM workforce.
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Physics in the Department of Physics with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
* Teach calculus and non-calculus based introductory physics lectures, recitations, and laboratories.
* Service to the department, college or university related to instruction, pedagogy, and/or student success.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
* A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a discipline related to Physics or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with current evidence-based instructional practices.
* Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
