Location(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job SummaryProcesses admission applications and documents to determine admissions status to support the mission of enrollment across campus. Maintains student and department records of assigned area through scanning, indexing and retrieval.
Responsibilities- Reviews and processes admission s applications and documents in an electronic environment
- Responsible for student and department records maintenance and document imaging
- Makes decisions on applicants admit/student type, residency status, academic status, overall status and admission s status with every application and document received
- Using application and other information, determines college transcripts that are required
- Uses transcripts received to determine accreditation of institution and applicant s admission s overall GPA
- Processes and maintains informational lists
- Processes required curricula requirements
- Serves as a resource for internal and external customers
- Assists with the generation of applicant communications
- Provides training to new hires as directed by leadership
High school diploma or equivalent
Required ExperienceOne (1) year of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications AdditionalPreferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CRM admission systems
- Familiarity with Kennesaw State University s student information system and imaging system
- Familiarity with University System of Georgia and Kennesaw State University guidelines
An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Abilities Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAble to deal with multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
SkillsExcellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
