Job SummaryKennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part‑time and limited term faculty positions in the School of Instructional Technology and Innovation for the academic year 2025‑2026. These positions are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities- Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Learning Design and Technology and/or in Instructional Technology
- Effectively designing and/or delivering online, hybrid, or face‑to‑face courses
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications- An Educational Specialist or a Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Instructional Technology, Learning Technology, Learning Design and Technology, or a related discipline is required at the time of hire.
- Experience in effectively teaching on Instructional Technology, or Learning Design and Technology topics to young adults, aspiring or practicing educators (e.g., university teaching, faculty professional development, etc.)
- Experience in instructional technology in Pre‑K‑12 contexts, higher education, corporations, government and agencies, or other organizations
- Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
- Record of past teaching at the graduate or undergraduate level
- Demonstrated expertise in current learning technologies
