Job SummaryKennesaw State University is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Security in the Department of Information Systems and Security, with a preferred start date of August 2027. This is a nine-month contracted position based in Georgia.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in cybersecurity technical areas.
- Engage in research and scholarship in the area of expertise.
- Provide professional service to the Department, College, and University.
- The standard teaching load is 3/3 but negotiable and can be reduced to 3/2 or 2/2 based on research productivity. Coles College flexibly allows summer support for new faculty for up to 3 years.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and faculty credential guidelines.
Qualifications- Required:
A doctorate (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field at the time of hire.
- Doctorate degree from an AACSB-accredited college/school (preferred).
- Prior teaching experience (in-person, online, or hybrid).
- Demonstrated technical skills in cybersecurity.
- Evidence of research accomplishments.
