It offers undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering, an MS in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Engineering.

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for afull-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering with a preferred start date of August 2027. This is a nine-monthcontracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

• Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate aerospace engineering courses.
• Developing and maintaining an active and externally funded research program.
• Engaging in department, college, university and professional services appropriate to the position.
• Advancing the goals and strategic plan of KSU.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOCFaculty Credentials Guidelines.

• An earned Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent,in aerospace engineering or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.

• Postdoctoral training
• Industrial experiences
• Strong publication record
• Grant proposal experience
• Prior teaching experience
